Are there times when you wish you could just tap into your own ready-made HR expert, someone who has experienced what you are going through, or something similar?  Perhaps you are just starting out in your HR career, moving into a more senior role,  handling a particularly challenging project  or you are a standalone HR service with no-one else on site to use as a sounding board.  If that's you then my coaching/mentoring service may be  just what you need.  I will work with you to establish your needs and together we will plan an approach which will support you in achieving your targets and meeting the needs of the business.  Sessions may be  conducted via the telephone/virtually, or face to face.  Each session will be tailored exactly around your needs in terms of content, frequency, duration and budget.

I have had a wealth of experience across the HR spectrum from the nuts and bolts of policies and procedures, to acquisitions, TUPE transfers and relocations.   For many years I was an HR professional in a blue chip multinational, where I was also a Functional Head and a member the Senior Management Teams.   In 2001 I founded Taramis, providing HR consultancy services to a broad range of organisations -  multi-nationals, SME's and charities.  I have experience in manufacturing, engineering, retail, finance, museums, tourism, property services and more!  I have worked with CEO's, Managing Directors, Managers, Professionals and Business Owners.  It is more than likely that I will have experienced something similar to what  you are going through and if I haven't then I will know how to help you find a way through it!

I have been a CIPD Committee member and Co-ordinated the CIPD Mentoring Scheme in Norfolk for a number of years.  I am now a Co-ordinator for the EMCC - European Mentoring and Coaching Council and have their Global Accreditation as a Senior Practitioner.

From Clara, a standalone HR Advisor:-

"I started my career as a stand-alone HR practitioner in a small start-up being faced with the whole spectrum of HR issues. Gail mentored me over a period of six months not only giving professional advice on the cases I was handling, but further, on my personal development and in how to become a well rounded HR practitioner. Gail not only provided support and guidance in our monthly sessions but further supported me in more challenging cases, always being structured and thorough in her answers.  Personally, I consider myself very lucky to have had the opportunity to have Gail as my mentor.  She has helped me a lot along the way and I wouldn't be where I am now without her."

From Becca, HR Generalist

"I first worked with Gail in 2017 and she mentored me over a period of 6 months. During our time working together, Gails excellent knowledge and experience was put to the test as she helped guide me though a transition period.  It gave me the confidence to apply for a more senior position where I got the job.  Since then, I have worked with Gail on and off in a coaching capacity.  Gail is someone I choose to go back to again and again for her coaching style that is focused, challenging whilst also being very personable and has made a huge difference in how I show up in my work and personal life.  I thoroughly enjoy, and look forward to working with Gail over the coming years and I would recommend anyone who is interested in coaching to explore working with her".
